Due to its central location in the Dolomites, Alta Badia and particularly Corvara is also the ideal starting point for some of the best skiing-tours in the Alps, such as the "Sella Ronda", or the tour to the Marmolada glacier.
It is possible to choose daily new tracks and landscapes, to move from one resort to the other and from one valley to other, all with only one ski pass card, the Dolomiti Superski Pass. There is no greater joy for skiers.
For cross-country skiers Alta Badia offers 38 km of slopes embedded in a fantastic scenery. In Corvara the length of the slopes is 10 km and in S. Cassiano (the Armentarola area), there are 28 km of slopes.
